I would like to buy this modular PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438005&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Power+Supplies-_-N82E16817438005&gclid=CLzAh5T-n7oCFY6Y4AodbS0AJg

and I would like to buy this Graphics card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125475

Now I was doing some research and the card needs an 8 pin PCI-e and a 6 pin PCI-e cable to power it

This is the back of the PSU http://content.hwigroup.net/images/products/xl/166749/2/evga_supernova_650w.jpg

Would I use one PCI-e cable 6+2 Pin cable plug it into VGA 1 and plug it into the 8 pin spot on the Graphics card?

Then take another PCI-e 6+2 pin cable but leave out the 2 part so it remains a six, plug it into vga 2 then the 6 pin side into the graphics card?

Are all Pci-e cables that plug into the PSU have 8 pins?

Thanks

yes. you would use VGA 1 and VGA 2 with the 6+2 pin cables, and you will plug in all 8 pins on one of the connectors on the Graphics card, and only 6 in the other connector.

not all pcie cables are 8 pin. some companies use 6 pin too. its just easier for them to do 6+2 pin, so then you can use the same cable on a card with a 6 pin only, 8 pin only, 8 pin and 6 pin, or 8 pin and 8 pin.

I know the PSU might not be enough watts but if i were to crossfire i would then use the VGA 3 and VGA 4 for the second graphics card right?

And this PSU also comes with Molex cables too, under what would i connect the Molex for the psu SATA?
