I was playing Crysis 3 last night for a bit after which I put my PC to sleep and went to sleep myself.

Today I turn it on and it starts flickering and losing brightness. Forums say its an issue when connecting a second monitor, but I only have a single 24' LG Monitor.

I go to the Nvidia Control Panel and what do I see..

GPU: Asus GTX 480
CPU: Inter Core 2 Quad Q8300
PSU: Corsair CX750
RAM: 4GB DDR2 800MHz
Nvidia Drivers: 327.23
I hope someone can help..

Try plugging the lg monitor into another port that detects a false display and see if it resolves the issue.
