Okay so i got this huge problem with my laptop, that i got in 2009. So let's quickly go through my problem:
I have MY laptop standing besides my little-brother's laptop. We are connected to the same Access-Point, which is located ~6 Meters away. (~19.8 Feet)
I get 1-2 bars connection and he constantly has 5 bars.
I have tried to uninstall and remove unused network-card drivers. Deactivate any kind of incomming/outgoing connections (Skype, Hamachi, Etc.).
And when we play the same game (BF1942), on every well-hosted server i get like 75-240ms ping, while his ping always stays below 30 . . . (and yes it means i'm getting owned by my lilbro -.-)
The internet connection is a 30/30 MBPS, which at xmas will be upgraded to 50/50
The ISP gives exactly 30/30 and most of the time even faster connection!
I'm very curious about how the f' i fix this annoying problem.
