AMD 7970 + GTX 660ti for Physx

Hi Everyone

I want to use my GTX 660ti for a dedicated physx card. I have 1 16x PCIE port and 1 8x PCIE port. If i use the ti 660 for phys x in the 8x port will it force my 7970 thats on the 16x port to also run at 8x?

The driver hole that allowed PhysX to run on a dedicated card in an AMD system has been closed in newer drivers from Nvidia.

So you will have to live without PhysX or use outdated drivers for the moment.

And depending on your specific board, the first card will run at x8. Which makes no difference to be honest.
