Thanks, I've had some help along the way i.e. G-unit1111

Any feedback on The motherboard or PSU?

The MB its £50 - £80 cheaper than others that have been recommended, not sure why!?

Are there any better PSU's ? i don't understand the bronze / gold differences.

The GS series is not very recommended for a PSU from what I remember.
You might want to look for a Silver/Gold rated PSU if you will overclock in the future.
Also you might want to check the price difference between your GPU`s and the Sapphire HD 7970 Vapor-x, since you will also get the bundled games unlike the 280x`s. I can`t check right now unfortunately.

Still, this is a good build, apart from the GPU, this was my choice at o point in time, after I decided to go SFF but still powerfull.

I haven't been too big on MSI Motherboards. I usually look at ASUS, ASRock, & Gigabyte. As for Cosair PSUs, They are good, but I don't recommend the CX series as they are suspect as far as quality goes. I have run a lot of Corsair Bronze PSUs with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I have not seen any issues with the GS series PSUs although I have with the CX series. For driving three monitors, the Video Card choice is good. I have someone on another board that has been posting game play Videos on three montitors with Eyefinity. Looks some kind of good. Don't remember which cards he was using.

cheers coastie!

I've spent all day researching and this is where i'm upto;

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£167.99 @ Aria PC)
[Removed Cooling as won't be O/C for a while £-23.98]
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£109.99 @ Novatech)
Memory: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£38.20 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (£73.99 @ Amazon UK) [downgrade from Pro to Evo. £-25.96]
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£62.90 @ Aria PC)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Toxic OC (£269.99 @ Ebuyer) [Trade from Asus to Sapphire faster clock speeds £+5]
Case: Zalman Z12 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case (£55.93 @ Aria PC)

Total: £778.99

Now i need to get a PSU which will support the additional ATI 280x when i crossfire in a year's time.

i estimate i'll need MINIMUM 750W. Any ideas guys?

would one of these work ? http://www.computerorbit.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_155_156&product_id=1363

estimated 686W crossfired, if i use 700w PSU will it suffer?

Not a lot of headroom and I have no idea of what is on the rails which is even more important. One thing we always advise when doing a build, if you have to cut costs, don't cheap out on the power supply. If you do and it goes, you may find yourself replacing not only the power supply, but Motherboard and CPU as well, and possibly more. The one I linked to will handle the Xfire with headroom and I know is a quality PSU. The one you lnked to, is not known for it's quality. A lot of these things do not produce the advertised wattage, or not continuously and are generally made with cheaper components. The choice is always the one who is doing the build and all we can do is offer suggestions and some facts.

Small Form Factor. I went with the Silverstone Sugo SG09 and a mATX motherboard.
Sorry for the delayed reply, business trips and stuff...
