Hi, i have a little problem, i have an asus maximus vi hero with an i7 4770k, i've changed the turbo multiplier form auto (39) to 42, changed the way to control cpu voltages from auto to adaptive, and nothing more; doing this i don't have any proplem with the utilization of pc, the only thing that i can't understand is why when i start the pc, after a total disconnection from elecricity, it reset 1 time (like if it need to reload settings) and when it start the second time it work fine and proceed for the boot than desktop.

the battery on the mobo is almost new, and i've already try to change some other parameter in the past, like the speed of ram, but i've never had that issue (changes still saved), any idea on what can be wrong?

thanks

hmm mine does the same thing sometimes only when my psu is powered off though and it still keeps all my bios settings I had originally.

I can't explain exactly why but I wouldnt worry to much, could be something related to post settings in the bios

yes that is the point, is like if memory is lost after shutdown (psu powered off), i think too is not a "problem", but i would like to understand why this appens
