I got my first gaming pc two weeks ago and decided I should OC my CPU and GPU.
I've heard that OC'ing the GPU is easier than CPU, thus why I want to start off with the CPU.
I'm a total newbie, my knowledge doesn't go far beyond the meaning of OC.
Right now I mostly need help about overclocking my CPU, but anything about GPU overclocking will be appreciated!
Some of the parts:

ASUS Maximus VI Hero
i5 4670K
Scythe Ashura CPU Cooler SCASR-1000
Gigabyte GTX770 4GB
SeaSonic 850W Bronze Series

Thanks in advance!

Here is a thread which helped me a lot: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1722630/intel-god-...

Here's another: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/06/01/intel_haswell...
Note: anything written about i7 4770K will usually also apply to i5 4670K.

Good luck!

This is pretty weird, I followed the second guide Yogi provided, I've reached 80C on 3 cores and 75C on the 4th after two tests, was keeping track using Core Temp.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Is it possible that I can't handle 4.4 with this cooler? I was told it's should bring me up to 4 without any issues.

80*C. is typical for Haswell at 4.4 GHz. From what I've seen, a 72*C. limit is not realistic for Haswell.

Suggest lowering it? If I want to reach 4.0, which settings should I use?

You may be able to reach 4.0 on all stock (auto) settings.

Seems about it, I kept track using CPU-Z, core voltage was at 1.216, core speed was stable at 3999-4000.
Gonna test it out for a longer period, about 30 minutes, then move on to GPU, any tips?

Not for the GPU. Maybe someone else will chime in here.
