how to use other processors

Solution
Hi, THat particular Processor had 4 models. The A10 - 5750m & A8 - 5550m were quad Cores. The A6 - 5350m & A6 5150m were dual core. There were some AMD processors that were advertised as dual core, but in fact were quad cores with two cores locked. These could be unlocked. In the case of ypou processor, if it is listed as a quad core, then it is in fact a quad core. To run faster that usually involves overclocking. One, you bOS is locked to prevent that and the second thing is that you do not want to Overcloack a processor on the Laptop / Notebook. it WILL in all likelyhood overheat, especially an AMD.

Hi. Overclocking is done in the BiOS. With a Locked BiOS, and they all are in prebuilt Computers, you can not get to the settings you need to adjust to overclock the processor and memory.
