Difference betwee the AMD Phenom II x4 965 models

Im trying to buy one of the phenom II x4 965 processors on ebay. The problem though is that i dont know which ones are BlackEditions and which ones arent.

There are 3 model numbers i keep coming across and i cant seem to find definitive answers. And if they are all black editions, what is the difference between the 3 models? here are the 3 model numbers

HDZ965FBK4DGI
HDZ965FBGIBOX
HDZ965FBGMBOX

Im trying to get one in the next couple of days when the auction ends so i need help fast. Thank you

the first one came without a cooler, its a tray cpu. its a c2 like the 2nd one
2nd one is c2 stepping with 140w tdp
3rd one is c3 stepping with 125w tdp

so the best one would be the 3rd

what is c2 stepping and c3 stepping??

Also, is the HDZ965FBK4DGI the same as the HDZ965FBGMBOX?? because im buying it off of ebay so it doesnt matter if it came with the cooler or not, all im getting is the chip probably anyway.

Okay i just stumbled across yet another model number.
You said HDZ965FBK4DGI is c2 but i just found the model HDZ965FBK4DGM. Do you know the difference between these two??

Also, how do i determine what my mobo supports? or does it not matter

Okay thanks for all of the help i really appreciate it.

One last random question since its been a long time since ive changed processors. My aftermarket heat sink currently fits my phenom II x2....it should fit the x4 right? its only based on the socket type right??
