I just upgraded my GPU forma GT 520 to an ASUS GTX 650Ti. Installed latest drivers, did a clean install.
However, whenever i try to play a game, i get crazy artifacts and distortion and then blackout and i get the following message:
Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 327.23 stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
Only happens in Graphically demanding games. Games like BFBC2 crash to a white screen, while games like COD:4 strutter a lot, but keeps running. AoM:Titans runs pretty smooth.
My temps are great, CPU is usually at 42C, and max ive seen is 62C (OpenHardwareMonitor readings). Gpu is idle at 36-37 and load at 60.
I also just changed my stock CPU coller to a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO.

Im rocking :
i7-2600
Intel DH67BL mobo
1Tb HDD
SS 350HS PSU (yeah, it has a 6pin PCIe, and yeah it IS properly connected
and ofcourse, a GTX 650Ti.

i tried setting my aero settings to basic, that seemed to help, and my windows experience indeex rates my GPU performance on aero as 1.0. Gaming is at 7.6.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Solution

use 331.40, check your graphic card frequencies with gpu-z.

...didnt you read my post?
"Installed latest drivers, did a clean install."
GeForce Experience says it detects a 650ti, but it also says that my system doesnt meet the min. requirements.
