Dear Members,

It is quite possible from a recent e-mail, following a major complaint that the company concerned below has stated for me, to pick any motherboard they have in stock, following a huge saga and complete nightmare.

First thing off.. My PC Case is a small Mini Tower so the Mobo size has to be an M-ATX.

I had a 775 CPU, but as they stated (Quote "I can pick a Mobo out of their complete product range"), so I am going to try to treat this as a golden blank cheque and get the best opportunity!

The only 'IMPORTANT ' thing is that products have to be in stock on their website!

Link: (http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/)

I have been advised by a Local Tech shop to go for the following, as money has not come into the equation from ComputerUniverse:

1. Mobo: Gigabyte GA-G1.SNIPER M5 Socket 1150 M-ATX - Link: (http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/products/90512136/gigabyte-ga-g1-sniper-m5.asp#review)

2. CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K - Link: http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/products/90512365/intel-core-i7-4770k.asp

3. CPU Cooler: This is what I am stuck on. Height has to be around 14cm or less and I would prefer to have a simple Heatsink and Fan, I'm not to keen on water-cooling.

So, please can someone advise from the following link: (http://www.computeruniverse.net/en/groups/30000578/prozessor-coolers-cpu-coolers.asp?props=30148029%7C10004392,30050456_upperlimit%7C10002901&home=false&props_mastergroup=Falsch&groupid=30000578&navigate=1&props_groupfilter=30000578) 1 being the best choice and to 5 being the 'ok' choice (If you get my meaning).

I have an Good Power Supply Unit 850w 80+, Good PC casement, and a Good 1TB sata drive, that can still be used/salvageable.

I have already purchased 8GB DDR3 Ram of e-Bay, btw.

Right to my request for help, if you Guru's/Experts on this site suggest a better set-up of the three, please say....

But, if you give the thumbs up for the Mobo and CPU suggested, please can the Guru's/Experts... provide me with the cooler to ask from them (Please, remember it has to be in stock/show in stock AND height must be under 14cm).

Thank you in advance to members reading this post and providing me with their suggestions.

Jonathan

My vote will always be for the Corsair H100i over any air cooler. I know you mentioned you are not keen on liquid cooling, but you will be hard-pressed to find a better, cleaner, and quieter cooling solution under $100.

Only question is, do you have room in your case for a 240mm radiator?

If not and you're not an overclocking nut, the H80i by Corsair is just as excellent in a space saving system.

They'll put the components for you or will you just get them and put them in your case?

If you're just receiving free components why not going overboard and get an i7-4960X with an ASUS Rampage... You just can get a case later to fit them...

Dear Members (if your still interested and linked yourselves to this thread),

The Germany Company mentioned here have failed to keep their word and used this to what I think (without prejudice), as a complete delay tactic (Naughty) whist getting my replacement sorted, so they did not have the need keep their promises Mmmmmm......

Therefore, I have custom built my 1st PC Mid Tower a few days back, with BRAND NEW products except SATA drive had that a month ago when using my old mobo.

Anyhow, I put them altogether using the suggested grounding aid in order to not create any issues, using the following purchases:

1x Cooler Master Case, windowed edition,
1x 850w plus 80 (what 80 means I don't know),
1x ASUS MAXIMUS V EXTREME,
1x HIS ATI RADEON (1024 MB) (H587F1GDG) Graphics Card Pci-e,
1x Orico five usb 3.0 Pci-e,
3x Areocool fans 120mm led (one blue intake and two red out-take),
2x XigmaTek XAF-F1452 led (blue intakes),
1x G Skill Ripjaws Z 16GB DDR3 PC17000 2133MHz Kit,
1x Noctua - Heatsink + Fan CPU Cooling Kit - NH-C12P SE14,
1x Transcend 8GB JetFlash 600 Hi-Speed 2.0 USB Flash Drive - for READYBOOST,
1x SATA WD BLACK 1TB (windows and programmes plus all personal data and family photo's, etc...),
1x Icybox IB-868 3.5 inch USB 3.0 Multi-Card Reader with USB Charging Port,
1x Arctic Cooling MX-2 8g Thermal Compound,
1x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor.

I think that's it...

I have braded the wires that need to be to make it neat and allow better air-flow. I will post a picture when soon, unless the moderators close this thread, if they do then.....

Please have a wonderful Christmas to each of you and hope next year is for the better for all of us, Jonathan
