I have been looking for some of the most cost efficient ways to upgrade my PC, here's what I have currently.

-Acer predator G series case
-Cheap acer mobo (can't even SLI)
-Corsair CX600 psu
-MSI GTX 660ti PE
-i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz
-12gb ram
-2TB Hard Drive
-Asus VG248QE monitor

So, this is my upgrade plan.

Carbide 500R ----> Asrock Z77 mobo ----> PSU, not sure which one yet-----> a second gtx 660ti for SLI

I am pretty much set on the case but the mobo was just one of the first ones I saw. Still not sure if it's completely worth it to go SLI but I still need some suggestions, I have upgraded a few times before but not as much as I am planning on doing now.

My current budget is about $200-300 for case and mobo (maybe psu).

A 600 Watt PSU won't run 2 660 Ti's in SLI, mainly because you have 2 6 Pin PCI-e connectors with that PSU. I recommend a 750w PSU for 2 660 Ti's and a Core i7-3770. This one will do -

XFX Black edition series 750w 80+ Gold certified modular PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207029

This will keep your components juiced up very nicely and removes cable clutter from your system. It is also a much better quality PSU than the Corsair unit you currently have and will hold up your future SLI setup no problem at all.

Thanks for the reply, I will put that down for my psu. Also, what is your opinion on the Asrock Z77 and do you think it's worth it to use SLI or rather buy a single gpu?
