I just built my pc 2 days ago and it keeps restarting without any warnings or BSOD.
I checked if it was heat issues causing it to crash but my temps don't go high enough at full load to make my pc crash.
After some research i was told to run Furmark benchmark program to see if its my GPU making it crash. I ran Furmark and it crashed when it was half way through the bench marking process.

By the way it doesn't crash a lot maybe 2-3 times a day. It crash at completely random times. Today it only restarted 1 time so far.

Here is my build

CPU : I7 4770K (Stock speeds)
Z87 Sabertooth
16 GB 1866 Vengance pro
GTX 760 Gigabyte Rev 2.0 (Stock speeds)
H100i cooler
Seasonic X Series 750w

with new system and new cpu did you make sure your running the newest bios for the mb and is xmp profile on for your ram. also have you tried running your system on the intel ipgpu with the 760 pulled to see if it a power or gpu issue.

yes i updated to the newest bios and updated all drivers. Xmp is on. How should i test the ipgpu to see if it was the PSU or GPU

ok so i ran memtest to rule out the ram being the issue. I used 3d mark and the 760 crashed around the end but the integrated gpu didnt. Now my question is, is the 760 the issue or is it that the power supply is defective and cant handle the 760 ?

i believe i found out the problem. I was using a OLD surge protector. when i connected directly to the wall my gtx 760 passed 3d mark and furmark without a problem.
