READ THIS: First of all before anyone starts changing parts on this build to better ones I want to tell you that I live in Sweden so if you're not from Sweden then don't even bother. My dad finally let me get a new computer, sine he never games like me he's like the typical that says: What's wrong with this one? Because he has never played games on a PC he can't tell that it's slow because he only watches videos and does live betting and occasionally goes to Facebook. He gave me a really low budget($550) because he believes a "high end" PC can be bought for such money. He doesn't know how much a normal gaming pc goes for. Because he only does web browsing he thinks a fast computer is one that can watch videos without pausing and he doesn't know what a real fast computer is because he doesn't game.... I will give the old PC to my parents so I can have this for gaming. I did the best out of my situation. I thought of one thing. Find best deals and get room for future upgrade. I know my dad won't go over $550 but I buy parts from time to time so he won't notice i'm spending a lot of money. It's like buying 1 banana every day for 10 days instead of buy 10 ones just at once. That way it will seem like you're spending less but in the end it's the same price. So my idea is to get some good parts but to leave room for upgrading like ram and a aftermarket cooler or crossfire. Enough about my personal life and over to the build.

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 760K 3,8Ghz ($104)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X OC($184)
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M II 520W($62)
RAM: Corsair XMS3 Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1x4GB($51)
DVD: Samsung SH-224DB($21)
CASE: BitFenix Merc Alpha($53)
MOBO: ASRock FM2A85X Extreme4-M($88)
Total: $562

Note: I already got harddrives. Yes, I know prices in Sweden are higher than in the US. I gtx 770 is more than $500 compared to $400 in the US.

More about : low budget build good

I would use an FM2+ motherboard . That would give you a future upgrade path for the processor

RAM should be a dual channel kit . For gaming you should be fine with a 2 x 2 gig kit

Whether its a good build or not really depends on what else is available in that price range

Nice idea! I found these 2 for great price. Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3($79) and Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H R3.0($86). Which one?

I'm thinking of getting a single channel one to then an additional 1x4 kit as an upgrade.

Not much really since all these parts are really cheap compared to the prices in Sweden.

The difference between those two motherboards looks to be that the D3H has 4 RAM slots . I think I would pay for the option to expand the RAM at some future time .
It would mean you can fit a 2 x 2 gig kit now and then add an additional kit as an upgrade

Im in New Zealand . We pay much more for these parts too

The fx 4130 is about $12 more than the 760k, I wonder if it's worth getting because of the l3 cache but then again I would have to get a more expensive motherboard and also the 760k is newer and has slightly faster single core performance. I wonder if it's worth getting due to L3 cache which people say gives huge performance boost in games.

EDIT: I don't think there will be any huge boost in games since my graphics card isn't a high end one anyways. So I believe I won't see any huge performance boost.
