In the elevated command prompt, type powercfg -h off and press Enter. (see screenshot below) 3. Close the elevated command prompt. pagefile reduce http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-the-size-of-virtual-Memory Text slightly different for Windows 8, but you'll figure it out.
