Why sapphire list 750w PSU o their R9 280x?

For a system using a single Radeon R9 280X graphics card a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply is recommended. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or greater and have at least one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

So I am perfectly safe with good quality 550 using Haswell i5. Even when overclocking both cpu and gpu ?

I found this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182073 and it seems like a really good deal (save 29%) . Would you care to let me know what you think abot this PSU?

Thank you for help. I think Rosewill CAPSTONE-750 is a steal for 99$ plus i bundle with other parts on newegg so shipping is cheap. Plus o tax. Creating systems by yourself is not only fun ad exciting but also rewarding. With all the deals I found on the web I got a beast mode gaming rig for less than 950$. can run everything maxed out in current generation of games. I can imagine all in one PC wih specs like that goes ~ 2k$. You just need to be smart about building. This is amazing.

Hate to bump old thread, But you're right. I too bundled and bought virtually everything on sales. I now have a Beast with an 8350, 850wpsu, 280x, 8gb 9-9-9-24 timed ram @1866 and, A nice MOBO capable of crossfire. I got the 850w since I can crossfire another 280x in the future with it, but just barely. Yep, Mine was $1050 with windows 8.1, and I spent too much on the fancy case. Never let anyone tell you you have to pay for performance, anyone saying that a $1000 titan is worth it definately overpayed for performance. Don't cheap out, but hey, My PC's a grand and I didn't use any cheap brands. Good luck with your build, and nice PSU for the price!
