Hi, I have a very old laptop which, I believe, has a lot of old games still inside. I wanted to play some of them again on my newer computer. Unfortunately, I can't even access the hard drive or the floppy drive on the laptop due to a strange CMOS battery failure and corrupted BIOS setting.

As a result, I want to try a different method of trying to extract data directly from the internal hard drive, but I am unfamiliar with this type of hard drive (Seagate ST9385AG). It seems to be a 2.5 inches ATA IDE hard drive, but it doesn't require any connector for power unlike 3.5 inches IDE hard drive. I wonder if I can connect it to a tower computer without connecting any power connector. If not, what else can I do with it? Well, my actual question should be what is the most cost effective way to extract data from it.
