No HDMI Audio Out

Hi,

I've been searching for a solution to this, but I'm at my wits end and have tried everything I can possibly think of.

My computer is running a GTX780. I have it hooked up to three displays, one of which is my TV (which mirrors my other 1920x1080 display). Whenever I want to put something on the TV, I would go into my Sound Devices, select the NVIDIA High Definition Audio (which had the TV model recognized) and set it as default.

I didn't have any issues until all of a sudden it started stuttering with both video and audio. I restarted my computer, and now it only stutters with audio, but to the point where you can barely hear anything (I'll run the Windows speaker test and I'm lucky to hear any sound during that 4-5 second interval).

I have NO idea what could've caused this. I've reinstalled my drivers multiple times, tested the HDMI cable with another computer (works fine in the same TV input) and my audio works fine coming out of the Realtek HD Audio adapter.

I've looked through my BIOS but I can't find anything to change there - and, I doubt it is something in there because it was working up until today.

The only thing I'm left thinking is whether my HDMI port on my video card failed, but if that was the case I would think there would be no audio at all.

Anyway, if someone is able to help out I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Just to provide an update, this morning it seems to be working better but still skipping slightly when playing through HDMI. It's bizarre because I can start playing and it seems to skip more and more frequently as it continues. I guess this points to a hardware issue? I'm not sure if I can troubleshoot my HDMI out on my graphics card to that extent, but a hardware issue on that end seems like the only thing I can think of.
