just put together a new pc.

whilst installing the things off the motherboard cd, everything was fine until the second scheduled reboot. it now continues to reboot, then trying to do a system restore every 3 or 4 times...

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

(ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA, i7 intel core 4770K, Windows 8 pro...)

make sure the motherboard bios is updated and the xmp profile for the ram is turned on. if the system reboots and reboots take the gpu out and see if the system reboots on the ipgpu.

on your motherboard it simple it has a usb flashback port. put the bios file on a usb stick plug it into the flashback port. press the flashback button wiht the mb off. 3 min latter the newest bios is on the mb. for the ram click on advance bios tab. go under ai and look for dram speed. by default it set to auto. click on it set it to xmp use profile one.
