OK today i got a new pc the specs are :
asus m5a97 r2.0 motherboard
a amd fx 8350 8 core black edition 4.0 ghz processor
16 gig viper ddr3 ram
a lsp 750watt power supply
120g ssd (can't remember specific one)
NVIDIA geforce gt 610 graphics card

the problem is i ran skyrim on it (from steam) it suggested i ran it on high settings but it was choppy when i ran it, I thought this computer could handle that no doubt? is there something im missing or is my graphics card need upgrading?

What's your budget for a new card? Check out the Best Graphics Cards for the Money monthly article that was just updated.
You can get a HD7870 for $170 now that will do very well with pretty much every game; High settings even on new ones, and Ultra on titles like Skyrim.
