My graphics card won't be recognized by the computer and refuses to update BIO's.

I've been trying to search for my card, but its unmarked and the NVIDIA site can't find it. Its narrowed down to,

GeForce 9600, 9800 or GTS 250,

Current BIOs: P1.00,

I've also tried updating my motherboard driver, as well as other drivers, but am having difficulty actually finding them all.

ANY help would be appreciated as I need my computer running for school.

Solution
I think we have found the problem. That PSU is very underwhelming and likely not producing enough power for the GPU.

What is the make/model of the other one?

I went in as the manual said and it was set to PCI Express, I tried setting it to PCI and now it looks like it did when I tried turning off the "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" (icons are huge)

Also, its worth mentioning that I tried to update the BIO's. I extracted the files, ran the application, rebooted, factory reset and it still sad I had P1.00 even though I tried with 2.50, 1.70 and 1.50

Can anyone help? I'm kind of up the river with no paddle if I can't get this working. There's no way the onboard video will handle all the adobe products and they're required for my major...

Well I'm trying to get my motherboard to recognize my video card and everyone's been saying I need to update the BIO's in order for my motherboard to see it.

The problem is that the motherboard won'y update. I've followed the instructions multiple times carefully to update P1.00 to 1.70, but its not working, it stayes at P1.00.

The video card does not require external power connection, and my power supply is a BCP450-0C that came with the case.
It says it has

BCP450-OC: 250Watt Constant/450 Watt Peak

The fan is spinning on the card, if that's any help.

I have a different power supply, do you think it doesn't have enough power?

The other one is an FSP Group brand, and has a DC output of 400W.

Its pretty much blank except for the FSP logo, looking up the model number got me nowhere , but its blue.
EDIT: Also, its worth noting that the FSP power supply was the one I had in my computer with the previous motherboard, and the card worked.
