I was looking at the reviews of this card and I want and some people said that they crash a lot on games? This kind of worries me about getting a AMD card with their drivers, will they fix this problem or should I got with nvidia because their drivers seems to always be well formatted and made. I know because I have a 650ti right now and would like to upgrade. Thanks.

Online reviews are about as reliable as youtube comments and the politics sections of various forums. Take them with a grain of salt and always assume that the poster had their dog perform the installation.

AMD drivers are just fine.

Unless you get the GSOD or monitor shutting down issues of course.

Driver crashes are quite rare. YMMV but most of the AMD driver stuff is FUD spread by NV fanboys.

The only noteworthy "issue" is crossfire isn't quite as mature as SLI

If driver issues are just FUD and the problems caused by ULPS don't exist then why did Unwinder see fit to add the ability to turn it off in the latest release of Afterburner?

Because the power states are slightly broken in both AMD and NVidia GPUs

My 660Ti's don't GSOD or turn the monitor off but my 7790 does so no links are going to convince me that AMD drivers don't still have issues.

My card doesn't give me anything like that. Maybe you got a bum one.

ULPS did cause some problems shortly after GCN's debut but these were solved about a year around, around the release of 13.1

The ULPS issue has been around longer than GCN and hasn't been completely solved yet.
