16 DDR3 1600 CAS 11 or 4GB DDR3 CAS 9?

Hey guys, So today I received some RAM I ordered(16GB 8x2) and I noticed the CAS latency was 11(timings 11-11-11-28) and the frequency was 1600mhz (I didn't pay much attention when I ordered it stupid me). I have seen that some people recommend lower CAS. I was using 4gb DDR3 in my build with a CAS of 9 (timings 9-10-9-27) and frequency of 1600mhz.
Should I send back the 16GB kit (I will have to pay a $15 restock fee + S/H but eh if it's worth it) and order another with a lower CAS or just keep it? Will there even be a difference?

My system is for gaming. I have an FX-8350 and a Radeon HD 7970

Can try them with your current, again in honesty, not a good idea to mix DRAM, but if you have any problems give me a holler, been helping people with mixed sticks for years now at GSkill's forums, and 1600 and below there's normally a good chance they'll play

I just ordered another set of 2,4GB sticks of the same RAM I currently have. So I will have 4x4GB of Corsair RAM all the same :) Thanks for your help :)
