Dual monitors won't work with new hard drive

I just bought and installed my new Seagate Laptop SSHD Hybrid HDD. I installed Windows 7 from scratch and updated my Bios and all my drivers.
I have an Acer Aspire 7750G laptop, Intel i7-2630QM. AMD Radeon HD 6650M graphics card.
If I turn on my computer with the second monitor already plugged in, it only shows the display on the second monitor. If I plug it in after turning my computer on, it only shows the display on my laptop monitor.
If I go to Screen Resolution and click Detect, nothing happens. If I press "Windows" key + "P" key, nothing happens.
Also, when I try to update my graphics card driver from the AMD website, it gives me an error message. So I am uncertain if I really do have the updated driver for that.

I am also having other display issues: The Aero effects are not working in Windows. But I am more concerned about the dual monitor issue.

How can I get both monitors to work at the same time?

I figured it out. I had the Display Adapter driver as Intel when I needed AMD. I installed the correct driver and everything is working correctly.

Thank you jbseven for your input :)
