Im looking for a computer AMD or Intel either way but i want it to be something i can upgrade down the line when i have more money avalible. It has to be capable of editing hd video and doing light 3d design work. Would like something i can play some pretty high end games on. Maby Arma 3. I will be using it to learn computer programming as well as if thats intensive haha. Im thinking i would like to keep it as cheap as possible while still getting performance. Maby something in the 500 dollar range not including a case, os, monitor, or accessories. Need more info feel free to ask!

You should take the ram down to 4gb. Computer editing and gaming don't go together. Different processors and vid cards have different features for either vid editing or gaming. GTX is gaming. Quadro is editing.

What? Why on earth would you take ram down? The FX-6300 is the best CPU in the price range for both gaming and editing. Why on earth would you even consider quadro for a $500 build? GTX/Radeon is good for gaming and for video editing at this point its all about CPU.

Excuse me but this is a budget build. 8gb is not for budget. And why on Earth did you assume I suggested you a Quadro? I'm not stupid. I merely explained that Quadro is meant for editing. And GTX is NOT for editing. Video editing is a highly intensive task and if you don't want to spend 4 days rendering then I don't think GTX is for you. Quadro is expensive for a reason.

On another note: The FX-6300 is fine.

Because the OP said in the $500 range. 8Gb of ram is for a budget build: its the difference between $30 and $50. Quadro is for professional editing. Everyone who it doing gaming and editing will go with gaming(GTX/Radeon) GPUs. If someone is doing professional rendering, that's one thing, but that information is useless and confusing for someone building on a budget and doing both gaming and editing on a probably nonprofessional level. 4 days rendering? I suggest you go elsewhere and find that CPU is the important part for rendering at this price range. Your information is confusing, incorrect and irrelevant to the OPs question.

How is talking about the build YOU suggested irrelivent? 8GB of ram is for budget but not a $500 budget. You can lower the RAM to 4GB and get a better video card. Any build should focus more on the video card than anything else.

I lowered it to 4GB and fit in a rebranded 7950. Let the person writing this post decide whether he wants a better vid card or more RAM.

The 270x is a rebranding of the 7870 that I already had! Its exactly the same so you basically blew $20 for nothing. 8Gb of ram is standard, its only a $20 difference!

Nooooo it is a rebranded 7950. So you could just change the card to 7950 and it will match your build. WHY WON'T THE AUTHOR POST ANYTHING?
