I am looking to do an SLI set up on the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3...

I would like to know if either of these cards will work with SLI on my board and also which one will have better cooling. I would like to know if either of them will be too close to each other on my board and cause issues with heat. Here s the ASUS card http://www.amazon.com/GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5-GeForce-256-bit...

And here is the EVGA Card http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperClocked-Dual-Link-Graph...

These would be in the Corsair Air 540 case. http://www.corsair.com/us/pc-cases/carbide-series-pc-ca... I will be buying 3 noctua 140mm fans but no top fans.

I'd go w/ the Asus cards, their CU cooling works well especially in SLI

That EVGA ACX cooler is a bit overrated and their cards are all reference design. The Asus DirectCU, on the other hand, is a very good cooler and they use all custom upgraded PCB components.

Actually the reference designs are better in SLI cause they push air outside of the case. However if your cabinet is well ventilated,That's not a problem
