Hello, I really need help building a new PC. Thank you.

Approximate Purchase Date: when the Radeon R9 290x comes out (probably on the 25. October)

Budget Range: max about 2000€ including
a Asus VG248QE http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/24Zoll--60-9...
(if you don't know a better or bigger monitor for the same money) for about 300€,
and Windows 8 pro 64 bit http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/Microsoft-Wi...
for about 128€.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (looking forward to Battlefield 4), Watching movies and TV shows, Working (I'm studying Computer Science).

Parts to Upgrade: None.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: mindfactory.de or amazon.de
Or any of the websites in the DACH section: http://sites.amd.com/us/promo/battlefield/Pages/battlefield4.aspx?bftwsocial-101713

Location: Berlin, Germany

Preferences: AMD, but it isn't that important.

Overclocking: Maybe, I never looked into it, but I wouldn't mind if needed.

Additional Comments:
The build should also include a R9 290x or a R9 290,
a hard drive with at least 2 TB,
and a motherboard that can run two R9 in crossfire (which i think requires two pci-e 3.0 slots).
It should of course be well balanced and be able to run new games like battlefield 4 with over 60 fps if possible.

I much appreciate your help and greetings from Germany!

Why 2000€ ?
You can build a 800-1000€ pc which can play all recent and upcoming games smoothly, paying more decreases p/p dramatically.

My suggestion:

Xeon e3 1230 v3 Is basicly a i7-4770 without integrated gpu, its
advantages compared to i5-4430/4570/4670 are that it has hyper threading.

Better go with a singel r9 280x/270x, because 290x, gtx 780 is not worth the money

I want to be able to play new games like Battlefield 4 with Light Boost (http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/) on at least 100 fps and I also want to be able to eventually upgrade to 3 monitor eyefinity. Do you think the 280x is powerful enough for that? Or the 290 sounds also pretty good and would be a little cheaper than the 290x?

I want a multi monitor setup anyway for studying sometimes in the future and I really want to play with more than 60 fps, so I will probably go with one 1080p monitor and one 290x or 290 for now. Any recommendations for the rest of the build balanced to that?

I really don't know much about this, but it seems to me that one 290x would be enough to get over 60 fps on low settings on 3 1080p monitors in newer games. Or would two 280x be better? I've also seen that the 290x has True Audio which could be interesting for the future. I've spent a while saving for this PC and I really want it to be good and last a while.

For those high speed monitors and for triple monitors, you simply cannot have enough GPU power. Two R9 290X will be great. One at first, the second later. The Intel processors are simply the best for gaming.

Sounds good, can you recommend me a build?

I already did, it is your first response in this thread. I left off the graphics card that should cost about 600 marks making the total cost 2,000 marks, per your request. You can add a SSD and the second R9 290X as money allows.

Thank you. Is it possible to get a second opinion on this build? (Just to make sure before I spend 2000€)

You are smart to look for a second opinion. Here's my reasoning for each component:

I5-4670 Intel's latest processor. Faster than AMD's 8350 in almost everything plus lower in power. I would like the I5-4670K but didn't see it as an option on pcpartpicker. If you can get a 4670K do so. You can overclock it at least 10% faster but would need an aftermarket cooler too.

Asus Pro motherboard. Asus is the best motherboard builder, both in quality and software for BIOS.

Memory. 16GB will give you plenty of RAM for any game in the future. It seems we are starting to approach 8GB in heavy useage. Of course for other uses you can exceed 8GB. Plus, should you get a Samsung 840 EVO SSD in the future, it has a program that uses 1GB RAM as a cache to give you 1,000 MB/s read and write speeds, amazing!

Western Digital is the best HDD maker.

Case is your opinion, but I would highly recommend something like the Storm Trooper where you can have two fans on the side of the case blowing right on your graphics cards.

With the second R9 290X card you will need some power, especially if overclocking. I'd recommend 1000W.

Again, pcpartpicker didn't show that Windows8 is available. I would get it if you can, faster and greater virus immunity.

Your monitor. Just remember these high speed monitors need a lot of graphics power to make them worthwhile.

Because I might be going for a semester to China in a year and I can't take a desktop pc with me I decided to go with a cheaper build. I'm sorry for the change.

Could you add a cheap optical drive (just for installing the OS) and a SSD to this build? Could 16 GB RAM be something to consider? And is there maybe the possibility of a little bit better looking case (I like black)? Also are there any other possible tweaks that could be done (other opinions, cheaper solutions)?

Thank you so much for helping me.

Thank you, looks awesome.
I heard the standard CPU coolers can be pretty bad, should they be replaced here?
Also a second opinion would be really nice (again just to make sure).

These cheaper ones seem decent enough, but they are so similar, which one would you recommend?

This is the rest of the build, is everything allright? Any second opinions?https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/96c0542200c5930b86e01822dde2dd64b35aee9f5f1dc087dec
