So I don't remember when exactly this started, but I'm pretty sure it's been happening since I built my PC. I have replaced a series of parts since then and I still get the problem.
What happens?
Whenever I play a game like:
Planetside 2
Sleeping dogs
Warthunder
As well as Minecraft BUT Minecraft only does it when I have an active Skype call
My programs will all crash usually with Skype starting first, and if I try to open them the crash again. After the crash my computer still functions, but as stated above I can't run anything and I get these weird graphical errors, like images will be distorted, and my taskbar will have a few pixels of weird colour.
If I am in a Skype call with a friend, they say that when the crash happens they hear a high pitched static screeching noise before the call ends.
Here is a list of the parts I have not replaced:
CPU
CPU cooler
PSU
HDD
ODD
At first I thought it was overheating.. but it just doesn't seem like it.
I also have a fair bit of dust on my GPU and CPU coolers if that makes a difference.
