I want a 27" if I can get one. What do I look for ?

Compared to a 24" running on 1080p is 1080p good enough for a 27" or do I need 1440p

It doesn't have to be top shelf but I do want a nice experience.
If the 27" is to pricy to get a nice picture I'll go for a 24"

cheers

Yeah. Pretty much because otherwise ur pixels per square inch would be kinda low. 1440p is probably a good start for a 27 inch monitor

If you're ok with terrible aesthetics, and a crappy stand, you can check out some of the many korean 2560x1440p 27" panels, they go for around 330-400 on amazon/ebay, Otherwise, if you want a 23-24inch panel then I would recommend going 120-144hz if you are playing a lot of fast paced shooters, if you play mobas and the such than 60hz will be just fine, in my experience asus 120 and 144hz monitors are something to stick away from(terrible colour reproduction) I've heard benq is good though.
