Hey guys!
I want to do a Pc upgrade and this is my current OLDDD build:
Cpu: Intel Pentium G620
Ram: 6gb 1333mhz
mobo: Asus P6H61-MX
GFX: evga 2gb sc gtx 650
and all the other stuff like hdd...casee...

i wanna up it up to a:
MSI 990FXA-GD65 AM3+ 990FX < mobo
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO w Transparent 12cm < cooler
AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core 3.5GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Black Edition < cpu

I will overclock as well :/ All this is $350 AUS and any suggestions?
i like the multitaking ability :)

I personally prefer gigabyte

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

the difference here is 16x16x4 where as the msi board is 16x8x4 also this has better audio and costs about the same

its that 970 chip set its value oriented it lacks cuts out a few usb ports and also limits the graphics if you look at the PCI 16 x slots it states 8x 8x 4x that's no where near ideal the 990fx chipset has more usb 3.0 and sata 6.0 ports and sports 16x2 this matters if you intend to use a high end Gpu or a pair of them in crossfire / sli as an 8x pci 2.0 slot would be a bottle neck.

what kind of graphic card are you planning on using? just saying? is crossfire even an idea? because if you really just want to save money you can just get a micro atx board with one 16x slot and be fine so long as you don't plan on adding any other cards.
