Problem with SSD. Cannot install neither windows xp nor win7

I bought a brand new Kingspec 32GB SSD. So far the old Toshiba 120GB HDD worked fine with Win7. However I cannot install neither win7 nor windows xp. Win7 gives error and windows xp installation freezes at random moments when trying to install. The only OS I get to start working is win xp mini. The netbook is Nokia 3G Booklet. What can I do to get win7 to install? Could it be a deffective SSD? Or else? Please help!

With windows xp, the installation freezes at the process of installation. I don't get to the point of acrual installation. It just stops at 35% for example, each time at differeng stage. With win7 at first I got the error of the ssd being formatted at fat32 instead of ntfs (that was the initial status of SSD, before I even did anything). I also experienced some problems with formatting the SSD (error 0x80070057 windows cannot complete partition).
