I've recently purchased a new monitor "LG DM2352" to use with my pc.
I've tried connecting it to my motherboard "Asus sabertooth z77" but it does not detect it.
There is no HDMI port on my graphic card "GTX 760" which only has a DVI port.
I had to use an adapter that switches HDMI to DVI just to make it work and I want to connect it directly to my motherboard.

Thank you.

Unless you're planning on removing your 760 I would leave it exactly as it is. The DVI/hdmi adapter is a perfectly acceptable way to connect a hdmi device to your graphics card.

Thank you for your swift reply.

I have no problem with the adapter, but my main concern was the 3D function which the monitor has.

Will the adapter affect such function?
