Hi,

Sometimes I get banned from my gaming client. What everyone says that it is an IP ban. My IP is dynamic, so who the hell I can be banned? I think that there would be some files stored on PC which refuses connections from client. Once I got banned and tried login with other account on other PC and it successfully worked. That time I logged out. On second attempt I got banned on that PC too. So I believe that there are some files which does it. Not sure where, can you guys help me to found out these files? Gaming client name is "Voobly"

Thanks.

bunch of ways to do a ban, you can ban a client ip address, the router ip address. you can also identify the mac address of the client or router and scan and band those. if that is the case you can override the mac address of the router with a new address via router firmware, (or even your client's Ethernet MAC address by configuring the local Ethernet driver properties)

most likely they ban your cable modems ip address assigned to you from your ISP. ISP will tend to reissue you the same address over and over so the ban is generally effective for most people. If I were creating a ban method, I would check MAC addresses, ip addresses, usernames and depending on the interface, I would create a profile of your settings and software...

Just depends on how much effort they want to take.
