Intel Core i5 4670 installed at the moment but i have an i5 3570k also.
750W Corsair Builder Series CX, 85%
3GB MSI Radeon HD 7970 Twin Frozr
16gb ram (not sure what type, most likely ddr3)
Intel motherboard DZ87KLT-75k

When i start up my pc i get no signal what so ever through vga (i have tried hdmi and it doesnt work also).
I can hear the start up sounds and i can actually log in and hear the noise it makes but no picture.
Im sure everything in my pc is compatible but nothing. is my motherboard broke?

Is your VGA cable plugged directly into the motherboard, or into the graphics card via a DVI to VGA adapter?
It should be in the graphics card.

If this is the case, then you might need to update your motherboard to the latest bios (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang...), this is a common problem with the 7000 series GPU's.

First remove the card from the pcie slot and reinstall it correctly and press it into the pcie slot correctly. Then check your power connectors whether they are properly inserted or not.

Then connect the vga to your motherboard and get a display then update your bios.Remember that you cant directly plug your graphics card to your monitor using the vga.First you need to plug a dual link dvi to vga and then from that vga to the monitor.the dual link DVI connector is included with your graphics card accessories
