I currently have a MSI Z77A-G43 motherboard and 4gb of Corsair Vengeance LP 1600mhz Cas9 ram module (originally came in a dual kit, but one was faulty). I am looking to upgrade and have recently bought an 8gb of Corsair Vengeance LP 1600mhz Cas10 module.
My question is, should I completely replace the 4gb module with the 8gb, or is it possible to have them both, giving me 12gb total ram?
