Okay, so I am planning on buying this pc:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silent-multimedia-Sprint-H5766u-Quad/dp/B00EAJKSI6/ref=pd_sim_sbs_computers_4
it has 8gb of ram
1tb hard drive
amd a8 5600k
350w psu

I want to know a couple things:
1. What fps would you expect this pc to be getting on bf4 on low settings at 1080x620? (I have seen a guy run it with the same specs as me on low at 1080x720 at 40-50 fps:

2. What fps would you expect from this pc, but with a amd radeon 7790:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-7790-Direct-Graphics-Card/dp/B00C6334AC/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1382183568&sr=1-3&keywords=amd+radeon+7790
at low settings at the same resolution?

Well with that card don't expect high settings so you could get about 60-65 fps. Don't trust Beta videos. The Beta is not the final product and could have graphical errors. A video card getting 10 fps on a Beta could get 70fps on the final product.

Oh, okay, but what about bf3 then?
What would you expect it to get on low out of the box
and what would you expect it to get when it has the 7790 at:
low
medium
high
ultra

Won't run High Or Ultra but can run low or medium 720p at 30+fps.

When it has the 7790 in it? I have seen benchmarks of it and it gets a really good fps at high, there's nothing holding this system back when it has the 7790 in it

3.9ghz is just the cake. The AMD processor has no icing. Intel does. This because AMD has weak cores and does not fair as well as intel.

What does this mean, is it really THAT bad? I have seen i5's been run around the 3.5ghz mark,so surely the extra .4ghz compensates for that?

If someone were to give you two big donuts or two small donuts. The two big donut guy doesn't have frosting as thick as the small donut guy but, because they are bigger they in fact more frosting than the small donuts.

Which would you choose? What I mean is AMD may have more Ghz and cores but the cores are much weaker than intel. Most games only use 2 or 4 cores. Intel would give 2 strong cores in those games but AMD would give 2 weaker cores.

AMD = Value

Intel = Power

But what I want to know is, is the amd 5600k any good to run next gen games, is it really that bad I cant run anything?

With this system you won't get much but with the card you can run low fine.
