Hi folks,

This is my second build - last one was around 7 years ago - time to upgrade!

I'm a web dev guy based in Spain. I often have several programmes open at the same time. e.g.
Netbeans, Photoshop, various browsers - Firefox, Chrome, IE Tester, Thunderbird, Spotify, Notepad++, etc...

Here's what I'm looking to buy - I'd be grateful for any input...

...there are other Corsairs here:
http://www.pccomponentes.com/fuentes_alimentacion-corsair.html

??? UPS: Currently I have a APC Backups RS 800 - Will this be big enough?
Maybe I need something like this?
APC Power-Saving Back-UPS Pro 900 230V - SAI
http://www.pccomponentes.com/apc_power_saving_back_ups_pro_900_230v.html

OSs:
Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64bits OEM & Ubuntu 13.04
http://www.pccomponentes.com/microsoft_windows_8_pro_64bits_oem.html

Can I run both monitors with this Mobo / CPU combo? - what if I wanted to add a 3rd monitor in the future.

NO GAMING?! WHY THE i7? Seriously if your not gaming then don't bother with an i7. Get an i3. Or a Xeon if you are video editing. If you are a web dev guy then use some good money on a good wireless adapter. The HDD is fine and a Corsair CX600w is fine for you. You don't need the Hyper 212 EVO either because I don't think a web developer overclocks. The Stock Cooler should be fine. And switch to Haswell 4th gen processors.

I'm just another member, being a Mod doesn't mean we know all - that belongs to the misspelled Mod where the M should be a G ;) and I seldom touch Xeons to be honest, most of my builds are straight Intel i5 and i7 'K' models, primarily high end gaming and business systems

The i7 Extreme would be a cheaper than a Xeon. But the CPU really depends on his GPU.

Agree. Unless it is 60hz and low res, He won't be able to run 3 monitors. Something like a GeForce 210 is extremely cheap and upgradable to something much better in the future like a Quadro or something.

Thanks for the replies.

About the graphics card. I thought this mobo would run the 2 monitors (ASUS 24" VW247H & Phillips 20" LCD) I currently have OK? I don't understand what I gain by buying a dedicated card ? I can see a GeForce 210 is only €28 and GeForce 610 is €43, so it's no biggy to add it to the order - but I'm just not sure what difference it will make? As for the fan - I thought that that stock fans are often pretty noisy which was the main reason for adding the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO which seems to have pretty good reviews everywhere and is fairly cheap.

Monitors I have:

Phillips: http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/philips-brilliance-200w6cb/4505-3174_7-31386918.html
