no its not, max temp for the fx series is ~62°C. are you sure you used the right amount of thermal compound?
Edit: are you looking at the cpu/socket temp or the actual core temp?

What guggi4 said: make sure you're reading the right temperatures. You want to be looking at the CPU Core temperatures.

CoreTemp and AMD Overdrive (if you have a Radeon GPU) generally pick up on that sensor the best, but you'll want to cross-reference with others.

i didnt remove the thermal compound that the h100i comes with..do i need to change that?..in the hwmonitor its the package in the AMD FX-8320..is that the core?

It *should* be, and usually is, but cross-reference it with something else to be sure.

Core temps usually display sub-ambient temperature (sometimes 0C) at idle, but they will be more accurate at load.

what should i do to lower core temp?..do i need to change something in bios to help lower core temp?..

Core temperature is a direct product of how fast you clock your processor, and how much voltage you feed into it to be able to do so. Lower your overclock, lower your temperature.
