Hi all! I am new here and built a gaming/performamce computer. My specs are as follows: i5-4430, 32gb 1600ghz g.skill ram, 120gb ssd, 1tb black hdd, 3tb seagate, 1000w modular bronze certified psu, and a zotac gtx 770 4gb ocd version...when I first go lt it running I was getting at 1080p 170+ FPS on max settings on the card drivers and in League of Legends...the next time I ran LoL I am now getting between 70-120....is it cause my cpu or gpu is bottlenecking with the i5-4430? Should I get a 4670k or could it be the new nvidia drivers? Should I try uninstalling the drivers and see? Anything will help as I am so frustrated about this issue! Thanks

I don't see a point for 170 Fps. Your monitor at best if is 120 mhz you will only 120 fps. And most people can't see different from 60 to 170 fps. I tink is more software related there is a FPS setting in LOL that limit the FPS.

Thanks Mysteoa for the reply, I have the fps uncapped and vsync off as I do not need it. No I don't need 170+ FPS but since it dropped drastically I was more wondering if it is driver or cpu related that made the performance drop drastically

Well if you did not change any hardware and the performance only changed when you updated drivers.. Then I would say it is a driver issue. Maybe download the previous version of the driver and then uninstall the current version and put the old version back on your PC. BUT... if the game looks and feels the same and you are just taking the frame rate drop from a piece or monitoring software then don't bother changing anything.
