What to expect from a Cherry MX Blue keyboard coming from cheap rubber dome keyboards?

I've been researching mechanical keyboards recently, and I have decided out of sheer curiosity, that I must try one of these. I am a gamer, yet I really do not think the quality of the keyboard plays a very big role in gaming, so instead, I plan on opting for the best switch for typing, the blues. I'm just wondering, for someone coming from cheap 10 dollar rubber dome keyboards, what should I expect to feel and hear from the blue switches. I am especially curious what the tactile bump is supposed to be like.

I've no experience with the MX Blue switches, I'm personally using clear but here's what Overclock's Mechanical Keyboard Guide has to say "Cherry MX Blue switches are the best cherry switch for typing. The tactile bump can easily be felt, and the resistance is similar to your average keyboard.
Although many people find them just fine for gaming, some don't like the fact that the release point is above the actuation point. This can cause some trouble with double-tapping. This is usually the case with someone who has experienced other mechanical switches before hand."
I've found their guide to be rather accurate but take it for what it is.
Although the clear switches I use are considered tactile, they do not have the 'clicky' feature of the blues so I can't say about sound or feel here.
