Hi,
I am going to install a ssd for all my programs and windows 7.
I would like to leave all my docs etc on the original 1tb hard drive.
How to I set it so the I can access the files ?
Cheers SRR

That's simple, unplug the 1TB HDD when you install WIN 7 on SSD, then install all the programs in SSD, make the SSD as First Boot Device in BIOS under Boot Priority/Boot Sequence. And make sure to select AHCI for SATA mode on SSD for better performance and the TRIM function to work for.

After doing all this things plug back the 1TB HDD, now you can access all your documents from HDD on SSD. Good luck.

I have everything running ok. I now want to reinstall iTunes and leave all my music on the old hard drive. How do set it up so iTunes can see all the music and films on the old hard drive without moving them to the ssd ?
Cheers SRR
