Hey Guys,
I have an Alienware Area 51 ALX case, and basically i only recently found out that the power supply that came in it is broken (It was given to me by a friend)
I want to get a new power supply but the original PSU is 1000w. I dont mind buying a 1000w one but will the pc actually use that much power or will it only draw what it needs? because so far my components only use around 450w (not including the all the lights and automated fins on top of the machine) and i dont want to pay out that much energy cost really.
I have no intention of running 2 graphics cards at the moment either.
Can you recommend me any PSU's? ive been looking at XFX and Corsair
