I'm curious to know from other's experience if after an OS install on the SSD have you been happy with your 120GB+ SSD or with the growing size of games these days is it best to look into the 240GB+ sizes?

I have already gotten a 1TB 7200rpm data drive.

I've been thinking Samsung for a SSD, either the Pro or Evo.

Thanks!

SSD's are great for fast boot times, but for running games they really don't make that much difference. Once a game is loaded (it will be faster loading with an SSD), it rarely touches the drive after that.

If you feel you absolutely need an SSD for gaming, choose one with the fastest write speed in a size you are comfortable with for your uses.

An SSD will not make little difference in storing a game on it vs an HDD. A 120-128GB SSD will be fine for the OS and a few games and apps. The SSD will only be useful to games with long loading times.

I don't use my SSD for games. The loading times are already fast enough on a HDD and I could always screw around with my phone if a loading screen would take too long.
