All 290x's look the same. Which one is the one to get?

So like the title says, all the 290x ive seen look similar. Only the sticker is a little different.. so whats is really the difference?

I understand that later on the OC editions will come out, but if what i want is better cooling for an overclock of the reference wouldn't a water cooling solve that?

More about 290x
  1. Just going to have to wait until the reviews are out. Gigabyte is a real disappointment for the R9 280X's though.

Giga ended up locking down the BIOS in their 7970s and likely inherited this in the 280X. The WF cooler made the Tahiti core run hotter than Sapphire's Vapor-X, a major facepalm. The 290Xs have reference pictures, for now. I would go for a Sapphire Vapor-X or ASUS Direct CUII one when it come out.
