my graphics card is at 99% usage

i have a evga gtx 660 graphics card and a 2560+1440 resolution monitor and when im playing arma 2 its at 99%. at 30= 40 FPS is that bad. if i get another gtx 660 card and do SLI will the usage go down

1440p resolution is pretty demanding, and the GTX 660 is not a top-end card. I would say what you are seeing is normal.

If you SLI you would see your framerates go up (your maximum load may or may not change, but just because load is high doesn't mean that is a bad thing - it just means your GPU is working hard to give you as many frames as possible).
