Can I build a semi-pro alternative to Dell XPS 8700?

I'm looking to see if there's a way to build a desktop equivalent to the Dell XPS 8700. I'm a video editor running the Adobe Production CS6 suite. I edit mostly DSLR footage (not raw) and do occasional photography editing/retouching. The Dell outlet has the XPS 8700 with

Intel Core 4th Generation i7-4770 Processor (8M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
Windows 8
1TB 7200 rpm SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600Mhz
16X DVD +/- RW Drive
AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB GDDR5

for $609. I think the same configuration runs $749 new. The Lenovo Z510 is also something that has been on my radar though I've also heard negative things about Lenovo. So my question is, can I build something similar to the $750 XPS 8700 for a similar price that will handle video editing?

IMO the one you've built is better bro. They only say i7 but didn't say if it's 4770 or what. The 4770 is a beast when it comes to workstations, suits your needs pretty well even though the GPU of this one is not so good. But the dell has a better GPU, having the 660 compared to your 7570. But for the stuff you do, you don't need the 690 or 7970 bro. I'd say go for the build you've got.
