Sorry only Xeon's support Multiple processor sockets, i7's are not equipped with the extra QPI links to do that

An 8350 is great for a budget rendering rig. It's a much better value than Intel as far as raw performance on n threads.
As being a noob, on Computer building
I'm looking for a dual CPU computer, budget about £1000.00 can you help with the idea's on this i have a person who can build it for me,
Dont have to be supper fast just powerful to run Blender, Max3d, Maya, when the mesh gets higher resolutions
I have graphic cards that deal with Iray (Max3ds) or Cycles (blender) rendering
Just the model and texturing that gets like stutter,
So AMD dual CPU motherboard or intel
What ever option must support DDR3, SLI, (as have dual GPU) windows 8/7
