Hello, I recently built my first gaming computer and after a few days at stock clocks I decided to OC. I have a Asus Sabertooth Z77, a 3570k, and an h100i. I started pretty aggressively, multiplying to 4.4GHz, and left the voltage settings alone. It booted and ran Prime95. Everything was fine except my voltage was getting as high as 1.4 volts. I tried numerous offsets to get it down but it crashed with every setting I tried. Does anyone have any recommended voltage settings for me to try? Thanks.

More about : voltage multiplier 3570k

Don't use offsets. Too cumbersome. Set your voltage control mode to "Override" at 1.3 volts.

Thanks for the reply, So I used your settings, it booted into windows and am running prime 95 as I type this. Temps are great, and I'm running at 1.312v. But doesn't running such a high voltage without an offset put alot of strain on your CPU?

As long as your Vcore stays below 1.300, it really doesn't matter how you get there. It's just that managing offsets is more difficult than entering 1.300 v. override.
