HI! Its a new build and when I tried a game It rebooted after about 1 min into the game, Star Citizen "Pre Alpha stage " very high graphics, so I then tried another more main stream and tested " Everquest II " and after a few minutes again a reboot, so I checked with CPUID and noticed it climbed as high as 110C. I have to EVGA 04G-P4-3779-KR GeForce GTX 770 4GB. Is this normal temperature? because I read conflicting docs.

I CPU is I7 six core, 32gig 2400 and asus rampage exstream set to the lowest level for compatibility.

ps. another question is that can this video card handle games with high graphics without over heating or should I purchase a waterblock for it?

anther thing is I did set the everquest 2 setting to almost the top level " which does give a warning about crashing video cards but I though this card should be able to handle it, or am I wrong? and should be looking into a waterblock and perhapes SLI?

Solution
The waterblock is already part of the hydro copper card, the card you bought is only for a watercooled application. Like coozie7 said it must be connected to a watercooling loop and with tubing, pump, clamps, radiator and fans to cool the fluid.
If you keep running this card dry, its going to fry!

My Video card does not use fans, its Hydro Copper Cooling which now makes me believe that something might be wrong with the video card cooling system. or the power to it. hmmm , although I do have a fan pointed to it and its running has high as the fan can go, but this is not the primary way of cooling the video card which is why I asked if this card should be able to handle a game without needed to purchase a waterblock as well or put 2 in sli mode.

hmmm, so what is the water cooling blocks for then at EVGA website? Can someone tell me then why its sold with no mention of this? so I need a liquid cool system like this one right ? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186067

And yes I will not use any games or other graphic intense apps until I get this resolved and I will keep the EVGA Precision X open at all times.

PS. thanks guys for telling me this.

I am extremely sorry , I forgot its a WC Card.
@webcan - Your card comes with a custom water cooling loop waterblock for the GPU. You need to connect it to a custom water cooling loop.
Full info about Custom Water Cooling Loops and everything else can be found here - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/277130-29-read-first-watercooling-sticky - credit for guide goes to rubix_1011.
www.frozencpu.com IMHO is a great site to purchase WC stuff. They ship Internationally , work professionally and have all the brands and products you will need.

oh boy, you're going to end up with quite a long shopping list...
basically you'll need all the rest of a complete custom loop watercooling setup, so a pump, radiator, fans for the rad, tubing, fittings and coolant...

You got a great set up there, you already have the cpu watercooled so its a shame you did not get an air cooled graphics card as now its going to cost you more to add the cooling system for the card.
Is it possible to return the card for the Classified Version?
Check with EVGA if they can help you with returning it, the reason I suggest this , it will save you alot of money and hassle if you got the card swapped for an air cooled version.

Grab that 780 , the cooler on that is excellent and its gonna be faster than your current 770.
Good choice , returning your card is gonna make your life easier.
Test out the fans with different configurations and monitor the temps and see whats the best for your case and gpu temperatures.

I just ordered 3 of these from newegg 1ST PC CORP. PFB1212UHE-F00 120mm Case Cooling Fan,
( 5500 RPM 252.85 CFM )
They make a lot of noise though so I ordered this as well. 1ST PC CORP. FC-FC9B 4 Channel Throttle Control Operation Fan Controller, 50w Per Channel.
I also order the card I mentioned above. ( EVGA ACX Cooler 03G-P4-2784-KR GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card).

I hope it goes well this time.

I think I ended up with your EVGA 04G-P4-3779-KR GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Classified Hydro Copper Video Card. It's running great in my custom water loop!
