I'd leave them as they are and adjust the video game options. Not sure what you mean by quality. Higher resolution? How the colors look?
You need to read a bit on what "quality" in a game really is and all the factors that affect it. Basically if you want better graphics, turn up the settings. Play around with the monitor presets for color, sharpness, brightness and contrast.
